Bristol Business Brokers specialises in the buying and selling of businesses, particularly in the accountancy, IT and telecoms sectors.

The business is based in Bristol with a predominately Bristol based clientele but recently expanded the team in order to offer wider coverage to buyers across the UK. It typically helps businesses with turnovers ranging from £200,000 to £10 million.

Having expanded their team and tripling in size, they were looking to generate content for the website in the form of regular blogging and case studies that would demonstrate their previous expertise in buying and selling businesses as well as highlight success stories.

Not having the capacity to write the content in-house, Manging Director, Simon Norton approached All Things Web® to outsource it.

ATW took time to properly understand the business and the unique and personal approach that it takes to brokering deals as well as conducting keyword research in the topic areas that had been discussed to ensure that content would also perform strongly for SEO purposes.

This resulted in a 6-month content plan being agreed in advance with specific topics and titles and ATW delivering monthly blogs in line with it.

Case studies were also delivered as part of the content plan and ATW would speak to clients on behalf of the business, write them up and then get sign off from both parties before publishing.


The case studies and blog content has been very successful generating traffic for the website and being utilised on the business’s social media channels to demonstrate expertise and highlight successes.

By the end of the 6-month period, the blogs and case studies accounted for 20% of the organic traffic to the website and featured in the top organic landing pages of the website.

The blog and case study pages have also seen higher engagement than other web pages, with visitors spending more time on these pages.
