About Amy Burton

Fascinated by the world of marketing since school, Amy became particularly absorbed by the digital side since the start of her journey when she joined the team as an apprentice back in 2015. Amy now brings an extra focused mind to the specialist team and works with our clients to ensure that all marketing activity is completed to an optimal level. In particular, Amy is captivated by the creative side of things like designing websites, writing optimised content and getting stuck in with problem solving. In her spare time, Amy is a wine lover, a concert attender, and a sun seeker. But most of the time she can be found with friends and family having a laugh over a glass of lemonade!

Internship experience with All Things Web®

During my 2-month internship with All Things Web ® I have covered a wide range of skills within the digital marketing industry. I came into the internship straight out of university (studying Marketing and obtaining a 2:1) wanting to put my theoretical knowledge which had come from learning at university into a practical experience in the real world, matching up the gaps in my knowledge. The concern with social media is that things are always changing, news is always getting old, and latest fads will always disappear, which means it is more crucial now than ever to keep on top of our social media game. 3 Stages to My Apprenticeship

Are you struggling to capture your dream job due to not having the correct experience or are you a college student with no experience at all? This can be frustrating as you may be showing all of the correct passion and presenting the best qualifications for the role, but when it comes down to it, experience is the greatest qualification of all. So what’s the answer? Apprentices can be defined as “a person who is learning a trade from a skilled organisation during employment”. Employers will not expect apprentices to have any experience which is why it’s the perfect opportunity [...]
